"Non-fish" A'la Tuna patties #PolishDinner

 

We travel with our dishes all over the world, but perhaps it's time to take a look at Poland? After all, Jackfruit travels all the way from Asia to land on your plates 🙂 A Polish dinner from Foodjack's kitchen - it's hard to resist 😛 Lightly citrusy "fish-like" patties à la Tuna, dill sauce, and mashed potatoes. Missing a salad? Anything will work here, so whatever you have in the fridge, add it to the plate and enjoy!

Ingredients

 

For the patties for 2 servings:
A'la Tuna in Oil 150g
cooking oil 1-2 tablespoons
dijon mustard 2 teaspoon
juice and zest of lemon 1 piece
chopped parsley 2 tablespoons
flaxseed oil 1 tablespoon

egg or flaxseed "egg"

1 piece

breadcrumbs  4 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon extra for coating

Additionally:

  • mashed potatoes
  • dill sauce
  • side salad

How to prepare

 

  1. Measure all the ingredients.

  2. Drain the tuna from the oil. Then thoroughly combine it with the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Shape the mixture into small patties.

  4. Coat them with breadcrumbs (optional).

  5. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

  6. Serve with mashed potatoes, dill sauce, and a side salad.

*Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

*Patties can be frozen.
